No Ordinary Pale Excuse (N.O.P.E.) Lager: ABV 5.4% IBU 35
N.O.P.E. is a lager with attitude – typical to the style with a bit of sweetness and light body. Unlike most lagers, N.O.P.E. is dry-hopped giving it a lightly hoppy flavor with a mild and refreshing finish.
Wit of Premonition – ABV 5.8% IBU 12.1
A delicious and light witbier with a bit of East Texas flair! Brewed in the traditional style with coriander and orange peel – we have a feeling you’ll love it!
Apricot Ale: ABV 5.2% IBU 41 - Back on tap early Feb
An ABC favorite! A light, crisp ale with a subtle apricot aroma and flavor.
Thomas the Pale Ale: ABV 5.7% IBU 40
A crisp golden yellow pale ale with mild bitterness and a punch of hop flavor & aroma imparted from exotic New Zealand hop varieties.
Experimental IPA #6: ABV 6.2% IBU 55
Experimental IPA #6 is one of many experiments at ABC! This IPA has an earthy flavor and subtle aroma with hints of grapefruit. Not as bitter as typical IPAs but the light body deceives you when you taste this 7.5% IPA!
Red Dog - Red IPA: ABV 6.7% IBU 72
Red Dog Red IPA is the malty red-headed cousin of standard IPAs. The malty body is balanced with bitterness, followed by floral hoppy flavor courtesy of fresh Australian hops!
Black Eyed Pea - Black IPA: ABV 6.8% IBU 77
A black IPA with a surprisingly light body, also known as a Cascadian dark ale. A little smokey flavor, bitterness and subtle hop flavor and aroma.
Vanilla bean porter (ABC VBP): ABV 6.2% IBU 32
ABC VBP – sounds ridiculous! This beer is no joke though – a rich aroma is followed by notes of coffee and chocolate followed by a smooth vanilla flavor with hints of sweetness.
ABC Nitro Stout: ABV 5.7% IBU 25
A delicious and delicate stout served on nitro! Aged with cacao nibs, this stout has hints of chocolate in the aroma and a medium body. Nitro, with smaller bubbles than traditional CO2, makes the beer incredibly smooth and creamy. Bonus: Nitro also makes the head last forever!
This beer is a tribute to Dr. Bruce Kirkpatrick – professor of Plant Pathology, UC Davis and the advisor of one of our head brewers from her grad school days. His favorite beer when we were still home brewers. Available only once a year. Be careful though, too much of this one and you’ll be as useless as Tits on a Bull.
Tits on Bulls Barleywine: ABV 9.0% IBU 116 - Available late Jan
Malty. Bitter. Dry-hopped into oblivion. Don’t let the name deceive you - T’s on B’s is definitely a beer. Intense and malty, bittersweet and resinous hop flavor, not to mention alcoholic.
Piney Woods DIPA 8.1%; 53 IBUs - Coming back soon!
A double IPA to celebrate the beautiful forest in the area we live in. A large reddish body to balance hop bitterness aged with fresh sage from Rustic Gardens in Athens, TX and juniper berries.
Summer of Saison
A traditional saison fermented with a blend of ale and brettanomyces yeast. A little sweet, a little tart and everything you hope in a summer beer.
Fall time in a glass, what more can we say?
